New for 2021, Bauer Goalie has released their next stick in the Vapor line. With key upgrades from the previous model, the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Pro Senior Goalie Stick is designed to be one of the lightest sticks on the market.
Starting with the blade of the stick, Bauer has introduced a new shape to the infamous P31 curve. Now, the Bauer Hyperlite Pro comes with a rounded toe to improve puck handling. The entire blade and paddle are made of Textreme material which provides high end durability all while reducing weight. Coupled with Texteme construction is Bauer’s ACL technology. ACL technology provides the goaltender with the most durability that can withstand high impact shots while keeping a low weight build.
Moving to the paddle of the stick, Textreme runs from the curve all the way to the shoulder of the stick. At the shoulder, the Hyperlite feature’s Pentagrip technology. This unique geometry is designed to reduce the amount of tape a goalie uses by integrating a 5 sided shaft grip. While it also provides superior grip in the stance, the goaltender can also easily slide their hand up to go for quick poke checks or playing the puck.
Finally up to the shaft of the Hyperlite, a composite shaft with 3k carbon weave reinforcement helps increase the durability of the shaft by distributing the impact of shots effectively through the stick. Beyond that, the Hyperlite features a shorter shaft which is specifically designed for the goaltender to get their hand to the top of the stick faster.
If you are an elite-level goaltender that is looking for the lightest weight and durable composite stick with an extremely unique grip, look no further than the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Pro Senior Goalie Stick.
