The K2 Mindbender 90 Ti is the quintessential all-mountain ski advanced to expert level skiers that want premium performance on firm snow with the versatility to handle technical or ungroomed terrain. Just like the rest of the Mindbender Ti collection, the 90 Ti follows suit by using a full wood core which gets reinforced by K2's Titanal Y-Beam Construction. Metal in the edges of the tip provide a great deal of stability and improved edge hold which invites skiers to put a lot of effort into that portion of the ski to drive their turns. Full-width metal underfoot provides the utmost power and precision for maximum stability and edge hold at high speeds, while a strip of metal running through the center of the tail actually allow for more torsional flex in that portion of the ski to allow for easier edge release when you need to get the ski to pivot. At 90 millimeters underfoot, you still get a quick edge to edge feel and plenty of edge grip on firm snow, but you get tons of versatility for skiing whatever you want thanks to a generous yet subtle rocker profile in the tip and tail of the ski. The rocker is shaped in such a way that provides a long effective edge when the ski is laid over, but allows for pivot and release if you ride the ski with a flatter base and a lower edge angle. Groomers, bumps, trees, bowls, chutes, you name it, this ski invites you to conquer it all. Because it boasts the narrowest platform of the Mindbender Ti Collection, it provides lighter profile than its wider counterparts making it feel a bit more playful and more forgiving. It is still a very powerful ski that welcomes even the most aggressive skiers, but the slight forgiveness makes things a bit easier in tight technical terrain.
