 A skate is sized differently and fits differently than your shoe
- You want a snug fit so that your heel isn’t shifting backwards or forwards
- With enough room that you can wiggle all your toes comfortably
- Your skate size is about 2 sizes smaller than your shoe size  

For example, if you’re a woman who wears a size 8 shoe, your ideal skate size would be a 6  
This gives you stability and comfort with enough room for a warm sock
