The new Premier R1.9 Sr. Goal pads are engineered to give the goaltender optimal weight balance when in the butterfly, reverse VH and recovery movements. With the new thinner profile on the outside edge, the goaltender will have less interference during pad rotation while going down to the ice. In combination of this thinner outside profile, CCM has incorporated a deeper knee stance by removing the air pillow between the knee and back of the pad. This allows the pad to sit closer to the knee and thigh, further allowing the goaltender to better seal their five hole aiding in more coverage.
