Proud to support the Peace Country
Since 1968, Ernie’s has been a locally owned, family-run business. The teams, associations and events that bring our communities together have always been part of who we are, and we’re proud to give back to the region that has supported us for more than 50 years.
Community has always been part of the foundation
Ernie and Irma Radbourne knew the value of community and worked hard to be a positive force in the Peace Country. Three generations later, that hasn’t changed. From minor hockey and school teams to regional games and local charities, we’re proud to stand behind the people who make Grande Prairie, Fort St. John and the surrounding communities such great places to live, work and play.
Every year we support a wide range of community initiatives across the region, and we want to keep growing that list.
“Over the years the Peace Country has been very, very good to us. Incredibly supportive. We, in turn, have worked hard to respond to that commitment by giving back to the community.”

Common questions
Which form should I use?
If you’re organizing a minor hockey tournament and would like Heart & Hustle toques and Ernie’s coupons, use the Heart & Hustle Toque Request. For all other donations and sponsorships, including teams, schools, fundraisers and community events, use the Donation & Sponsorship Request.
How far in advance should I apply?
As early as possible. We receive many requests throughout the year, and Heart & Hustle toques are ordered once a year, so early requests have the best chance of being filled.
Can you support every request?
We wish we could! We receive a lot of requests each year, so submitting a request doesn’t guarantee support. We carefully review every one and do our best to help as many Peace Country teams and causes as we can.
Do you offer discounts to associations and non-profits?
Yes. Associations, schools, teams and non-profit organizations receive discounted pricing when purchasing equipment, uniforms, prizes or supplies. Visit or call your local Ernie’s store and ask our team about it before you buy.
Can I drop off a request in store instead?
Please use the online forms. They make sure every request is recorded and reaches the right person at the right store.
Do you also offer team uniforms and custom apparel?
Yes. Our sister company, ProSport Clothing Company, outfits teams, schools, associations and businesses with custom uniforms, apparel and promotional products. Visit prosport.gp to learn more.
